In this place, I would like to draw your attention to the “Dr. Oswald Madecki medical scholarship”, founded by Polish Government for Nigerian students to study medicine in Poland. Six school-leavers per annum shall profit from the project. In the first year in Poland, they have to learn the language and then to dedicate the medicine studies the following 6 years. Only candidates, who have passed their school-examination with "excellence" in all subjects, get the grant. Some candidate can also be accepted if they pay a tuition fee of 3500 Euros in the year. However, ca. 350 Euro monthly expenses for a living have to be paid by each student, what will become a problem for the poorer ones under them. For the candidates suggested directly by Dr. Biersack the supporters are dependent on donations.
Mrs. Dr. Biersack, who works in the Sacred Heart hospital in Abeokuta/Nigeria since 1970, and in an admirable way continues Dr. Madecki's work, has opened a donations account. If you wish to help these young people (not more than one or two per annum) to participate in the project, please transfer your donation to the following account:
